Workshops for your group

A table of people who already know each other, making the same thing badly at first and well by the end. It is a very good afternoon.

Who books these

  • Birthdays and celebrations

A table of friends, a pile of yarn, and everyone leaves with something they made rather than something they bought.

  • Team days

Quiet, tactile, and nothing like a trust fall. People talk to each other properly while their hands are busy.

  • Retreats and getaways

An afternoon session that fits inside a longer weekend. Travels well to cabins, lodges, and rented houses.

  • Clubs and guilds

Standing groups who already meet and want a project with a finished object at the end of it.

The practical bits

Where does it happen?
Wherever you are. A dining table, a cabin, a meeting room, a rented hall — if there is somewhere for everyone to sit and spread out, it works. Sessions regularly travel across the Twin Cities and the North Shore.
What do you need from us?
Table space, chairs, and a power outlet to test the lamps at the end. Everything else arrives in the van.
How many people?
Six to twelve is the sweet spot — small enough that everyone gets help when they get stuck. Larger groups can be split across two sittings.
How far ahead should we book?
A month is comfortable. Shorter notice is often fine too, so ask rather than assume the date has gone.

Start planning one

Give me a rough date and a rough number and I will come back with what it would cost and what the afternoon would look like.
